He is the CEO of Clintonel Advanced Engineering Centre (AEC) Aba – a facility for engineering innovation and digital manufacturing. AEC was recently won The Most Outstanding MSME in Nigeria 2022 – a prestigious National Merit Award of Excellence by the Nigerian government. He founded Nigeria’s first Makerspace – Clintonel Innovation Centre. Fousseni Kone
3D Mechanical coach and entrepreneur at Netinfo & DigiArt Living Lab
Fousseni Kone was born on 13/01/1995 in Samako, a village located 60 km from the Malian capital, in the Koulikoro region. He is the son of Souleymane KONE, a notable peasant from the village of Samako. At age seven, he attended basic school in Samako; at home, he participated in the field work alongside his father to meet the needs of the family. After passing his fundamental studies diploma in 2011, he returned to Bamako, the capital of Mali, for secondary studies at the Beydi Konandji high school in Bamako. Four years later, he obtained the Malian baccalaureate in exact sciences in 2015. At the end of 2015, he took the entrance exam to the normal school of technical and professional education in Bamako (‘’Ecole Normale d’Enseignement Technique et Professionel: ENETP) where he began his university studies. After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in 2018, he continued his studies at ENETP and obtained his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialty: Mechanical Construction). In parallel with his university studies, in June 2020, he obtained an Autodesk certificate in 3D modeling with Fusion 360, following his participation and success in the 3DAfricaMaher event organized and coached by Netinfo of Tunisia. In July 2022, he also obtained a certificate in mechanical manufacturing following his participation in a workshop organized by the company Nantong Sijan Construction of China through ENETP. Today, Fousseni KONE undertakes teaching work in certain private universities, technical colleges and vocational schools in Bamako.

I’m Malian, born and raised in Bamako, I am 25 years old and I have a Master’s degree in Mechanics. I’ve been a project manager at Diakité Robotic’s for 7 months and I did an internship at Kabakoo Académie in their Content team, currently, I work at B2gold in the Fekola mine (Fekola SA) in the HME department for planning machine maintenance and their follow-up.
I had to participate in bootcamps initiated by NETINFO such as 3D Africa Maker, which our team won in Mali, as well as African GameDev. and other workshops initiated by Kabakoo Académie, ImpactHub. Apart from that, I am at the head of a company which was born last April: Shine Corporation SARL, it’s a company based on the training and orientation of pupils and students, especially for the mastery of essential software in this 21st century; because having noticed a real delay compared to the rest of the world from our own experiences. The company is made up of a team of 6 young ladies, each of whom is a co-founder. I’m not married and I haven’t children. I really like history and astrophysics.
